If you ever want to win brownie points, I like coffee, chocolate, and every kind of taco. Wink.
About me!
I like the world and I like to travel!  I've been to 24 countries and 44 US states. I love experiencing history firsthand and embracing new cultures. I want to impart the desire to see the world and experience new cultures, traits, food, and music, on to you all. The three most important things I have learned in my many travels (and mighty fine ways to combat culture shock): dress like locals, TRY ALL OF THE FOOD AT LEAST ONCE, and keep the phrase "it's not right or wrong; it's just different" glued into your brain.

More things about me!
I have a husband named Tim and cat named Winnifred (or Winnie, for short). We moved from Austin, Texas, to Denver, Colorado on July 23, 2017. This is my sixth year of teaching social studies - I've previously taught Pre-AP Geography, CP US History, Economics, Street Law, and Regular, Pre-AP, and AP World History, with the majority of my experience in AP World. I care about you guys, I am for you guys, and I am here for y'all whenever you need someone to listen or encourage. As I always say, you can do it; I believe in you! I also have a teaching Instagram - feel free to follow along! I'll post encouraging things, student shout-outs, important reminders, and other fun and exciting pictures. Follow along at @toopoolforschool.
